Blogged Around Philly

PhillyWe bring you the buzz from the 215 blogs this week.

The Clog is recruiting Flyers fans in Pittsburgh for a bit of mischief. We assume this is in response to something some Pittsburgh person did to slight our fair city and/or our hockey team, but this Phillyist isn't enough of a sports fan to know these things. Anyway, The Clog forgot step three: take a picture (it'll last longer).

PSoTD noted that the military hired 861 ex-felons last year, including arsonists, burglars and car thieves. Hey, maybe there's a demand for their skill sets in some of those places we're occupying protecting overseas. They could steal nuclear weapons! Or tanks!

Philadelphia Bicycle News questioned how the Phillies could "go green" yet provide only 32 bike rack spaces to their fans. Given the 21,000 parking spaces at Citizens Bank Park, that does seem rather absurd.

Suburban Guerilla discussed the inappropriate and offensive—yet somehow still amusing when you break them down a certain way—sexual misgivings that may be powering the Democratic presidential race. And by race we mean the contest, not that other definition of race that keeps cropping up in certain campaigns.

Philly Is Funny took a look at the search terms readers used to reach their site. Hmmm... we wonder if any of those landed people at Phillyist too?
