- So many stories about GTA IV! Where do we begin? How about with the line to get a copy of the game? Geekadelphia has coverage of one such line in Philadelphia, while Joystiq records some amusing things overheard in line. Not sure which version to get? Take a look at a comparison between the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. You can also enjoy a helicopter tour of Liberty City, or envy Game|Life's enjoyment of their replica of the Statue of Happiness. - This is a sad story: there's only one pinball factory left in the whole world. It would really suck if pinball disappeared from the Earth.
- Matt Damon was going to add his voice and likeness to the upcoming game The Bourne Conspiracy, but he's now pulled out after taking issue with the game's violent content. Uh... Matt? Did you see any of the movies?
- Supposedly someone has actually seen Duke Nukem Forever—the actual game, actually being played.
- The Wii version of the upcoming Ghostbusters game is apparently going to be done by a completely different developer, which is odd and disturbing. But apparently that version will allow you to use a DS as a PKE Meter, which is pretty awesome.
- Apparenlty the promise of semi-nude photos of Miley Cyrus over at Vanity Fair actually caused the website to crash under the overwhelming deluge of traffic. But don't worry, pervs; the site is back up now, and the pictures are available.
- The long-awaited director's cut DVD of Dark City is finally done and ready and has a release date: July 29th.
- There's a letter going up for auction on eBay tomorrow that was written by J.D. Salinger in 1981 to Janet Eagleson, a woman he had an affair with. It features Salinger's impressions on movies he'd seen recently, including a particularly negative review of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Screw you, Salinger! That movie rocks!
- The original stars of Escape to Witch Mountain will cameo in Disney's reimagined version of the film, Race to Witch Mountain.
- Cinematical presents seven children's books that need to be filmed immediately.
