ArtIST: Siobhan Calnan

Siobhan is a true Philadelphian... creatively lewd. She is a student at the ever-studious Tyler, but her art cards and drawings bear a simple, sophomoric quality that goes hand in hand with the snarky text. Her portrait prints are equally child-like in style, but well crafted and sharp. Siobhan's style is very genuine and youthful. The text fits right in with the sharp tongue of Philly's young artists. Check out Siobhan's Etsy site or see her/her work live at Tyler School of Art next week. Her BFA show will run there from April 16-19, with a reception this Friday from 6:30-8:30.
