So you missed out on getting a ticket for tonight's sold out film festival flick, Hori Smoku Sailor Jerry. Or maybe you did score a ticket but need somewhere to get your drink on before and after the screening of the Sailor Jerry biopic.
For your pre-film party, head over to 13th Street where the Sailor Jerry store hosts Philly punk band Paint It Black, who will be tearing it up streetside. (Which means, of course, that you won't be able to drive down 13th Street this evening. Don't say we didn't warn you.) For those 21+, complimentary Sailor Jerry Rum will be served inside the store. The fun starts at 7:00.
If you have a ticket to the film, the screening starts at 9:30 at the Prince. Down your drinks and get there early because the line's sure to be long for this one.
After the film—or after the street party—head over to Tattooed Mom for a Sailor Jerry-sponsored after party. No word yet on drink freebies or specials there, but with Mom's regular drink deals you won't break the bank.
So, to summarize: punk + rum on 13th Street, film at the Prince, then carry on at Mom's. And while you're doing all this, scope the ink the crowd is sporting, because the Philly Tattoo Arts Convention rolls into town next week.
