While pundits foam at the mouth debating who’s getting the black vote, the white vote, the women’s vote, and the young vote, Phillyist only cares about who’s getting your vote. The results from our People’s Choice Endorsement are in, and there’s no need to argue over superdelegates—Barack Obama is the winner by a landslide, with 68% of the vote. So much for the most recent professional poll results predicting a statistical tie between him and Hillary Clinton in the Pennsylvania primaries. Was it the bowling?
23% of you nominated Clinton in our poll, which at least suggests she can beat John McCain in the general election, with his earning only 4% of the vote. That is assuming McCain’s supporters are actually voting in polls like these, and not on political Spring Break, sipping Mai Tais waiting for the Democrats to pick a nominee already.
In addition to the 3% who are still undecided, 2% of you would elect someone else. Whether your ideology leans more toward Ralph Nader or Ron Paul, we wish you happy voting on April 22nd.
