Something Venti Is Brewing at Starbucks on 4/8/08

If you are an elitist coffee nerd like us, you get Starbucks e-mail. Today we received a missive that totally got our caffeine-infused juices flowing.

Starbucks is revealing something BIG on 4/8/08 (i.e. next Tuesday) at 12 noon (i.e. noon). In true marketing fascism fashion they are not telling us what it is, in the hopes of keeping us talking and blogging about it.

Well, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Since we can only guess what Starbucks is planning for Tuesday the 8th, that is what we will do:

1. They will unveil a new sized drink called “Pazzo Enorme, Ciao!”
2. They found Osama bin Laden.
3. It’s Take Your Daughter to Starbucks Day.
4. A new report says drinking coffee cures cancer, AIDS, baldness and sweet breath.
5. The Frappucino will now be named a “Broseph,” so ya know, dudes can order one too.
6. The premiere of Akeelah and the Bee 2.
7. Their new octuplet-shot latte called “The Kickass” (“Try a Pazzo Enorme, Ciao Kickass with a raspberry scone.”)
8. The Chantico is BACK!!!!!! God I need my deep thick hot chocolate fix right now!!!!!!!!!!
9. They shot J.R. (Anyone? Anyone? No?)
10.You will be able to act like a douche and a nerd by ordering your coffee drinks via your iPhone. (Full Disclosure: I am a douche nerd.)

We’ll all have to head to our nearest Starbucks next Tuesday at noon to find out!
