Nudar: GPS For Strip Clubs & Nudity, Apparently Thrives in Philadelphia

Nudar.
If you’re wondering if it is what it sounds like, then chances are, you’re spot on. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Nudar (NSFW) is, as the website states, “radar for strip clubs and nudity.” Whether you’re on the hunt for anything from a tasteful nudist resort to a seedy all-nude review, Nudar is a must for those looking for “hawt n00dz” on the go. The software is currently in beta testing and is presently available, free, for a limited time only.
Why mention it here on Phillyist? Check out the website’s map. Aside from our dear state of Pennsylvania coming in at number six in the nation with the most strip clubs in their database (Ohio only has 9 more than us!), Philadelphia is relatively lit up. Here’s a quick breakdown of the colors.
Light Purple – Nude
Purple – Topless
Red – Pastie
Blue- Bikini
Orange – Other (anyone care to explain what “other” means?)
Of course, we’re missing the two other colors, yellow for nude beach and green for nudist resort. Seldom does one spot anyone nude sunbathing on the shores of the Schuylkill, but I suppose they’ll have to update their map once that “Nudist Worship Hall” opens in Northern Liberties.
