Forget jellybeans and chocolate rabbits. What you want to eat this weekend is brains. And you should wash them down with beer or zombie drinks. That's right—it's time once again for the annual Philly Easter Zombie Crawl. Hundreds of the undead will make their way down South Street on Sunday starting at 8:45 PM. The pre-crawl fun starts at Tattooed Mom at 6:00 PM.
Crawlers should come in their zombie best because there will be prizes for the rottenest of the rotten. Makeup may be available at Mom's but we suggest you get all dolled up before heading out. Crash Bang Boom and Masquerade are offering zombie discounts if you need a little help with your brain eatin' finery. Zombies don't just wear suits or shredded dresses; any outfit can be turned into a zombie outfit with the right makeup. Why not be a zombie pirate, zombie leprechaun, zombie superhero or zombie stripper?
Zombie drink specials will be available at the following bars:
Tattooed Mom (530 South Street)
Manny Brown's (512 South Street)
Lickety Split (401 South Street, 2nd Floor)
Copabanana (344 South Street)
The crawl ends at Fluid, with the aforementioned prizes distributed and some undead dancing. It's also Fast Cheap & Outta Control, so if you took our advice on the zombie stripper costume, you'll be all set.
