<description>&lt;p&gt;Point well taken, Steph.  And certainly the parents who do things like that deserve a place on the Asshole list.  Especially the ones who get their kids a kitten or puppy for Christmas and then bring it to the shelter two months later.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;OK, as bad as this is--and it IS pretty awful--it somehow seems better than buying your kids a rabbit or chick and then taking it to the shelter a month later. Having worked at a shelter, I can vouch for the fact that they get flooded with rabbits a month after easter.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
