A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- Looks like Paramount Pictures wants Sam Raimi to spearhead a revival of the Jack Ryan franchise.
- Clint Eastwood is going to direct and star in a film called Gran Torino. Details are being kept under wraps, but the rumor is the film might be a new entry in the Dirty Harry series. Feeling lucky, punk?!
- We're not a huge fan of the work of Michael Bay. In fact, you could say we're the opposite. But we still have to admit this Verizon commercial starring Mr. Bay is pretty fantastic. (Via)
- Some new info was released about the upcoming Street Fighter movie, and everybody's talking about it. Kristen Kreuk is confirmed as Chun-Li. Michael Clarke Duncan is Balrog, Neil McDonough is M. Bison, Chris Klein is Charlie Nash, and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas is Vega. The director is Andrzej Bartkowiak, who also made Doom, Cradle 2 the Grave and Exit Wounds, so apparently this is going to be another terrible movie. Great. Filming began this week, and It'll be out in 2009.
- Director George Miller has mounted a public campaign to pressure the Australian government and its screen finance officials to change their minds and let him tap the new rebate for the production of Justice League Mortal. If they don't bend, he's threatening to move the production to New Zealand or Canada.
- Our first look at Benicio DelToro as the Wolfman is pretty cool.
- The best we can do so far for images from the new Harry Potter movie is a scanned photo from Nick Magazine. And actually, it's not a very exciting picture, and could easily be from the previous movie. Still, we'll take what we can get.

- Looks like Bionic Woman is canceled. Damn! We never even got around to watching that show...
- Nintendo is once again at the bottom of Greenpeace's list of tech manufacturers when it comes to eco-friendly practices. That makes us sad, Nintendo. How can we keep loving you if you hate our friend the Earth?

- So, we've all been wondering just how you make a version of Guitar Hero for the DS. The answer can now be seen in these pictures and video of Guitar Hero: On Tour. Apparently you add a fret button peripheral plug-in, and have people strum the touch screen with a fake guitar pick. Uh, yeah, that's dumb.
- Check out this sweet one-handed Xbox 360 controller.
- Looks like the Vivendi-Activision merger will probably mean that Sierra is screwed.
- The video for the song "Quit Playing Video Games and Get Laid" insults both bloggers, and gamers, so it's hitting us on multiple levels. It's still kind of funny, though.
- Kevin Smith's upcoming film, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, has an official release date of Halloween, 2008.
- Heavy Metal in Baghdad is one of the films at the upcoming Philadelphia Film Festival, but Cinematical already saw it at SXSW, and they have a review that might help you decide whether you want to catch it here next month.
