Thank You Sir, Mae I Have Another?

We're gonna have a great day Sunday, and we really hope you join us for it. As you've heard by now, we're going to be liveblogging the Barking Beauty pageant. And from there, we're gonna be making our way to the TLA... err, Fillmore at the TLA... for the Mae show.

Mae's most recent album, Singularity came out last summer, and while it's a little over-produced, it's certainly a strong effort and shows that the band has some solid chops, which will be on display Sunday. And, as if you needed any extra incentive to check out the show, the Mae's primary support is The Honorary Title, whose latest CD, Scream & Light Up the Sky, was this Phillyist's favorite album of 2007.

It's a short walk from L'Etage, where the Barking Beauties show will be held, to the Fillmore, so here's your schedule for Sunday afternoon: check out the doggies, grab a cheesesteak at Jim's (or, even better, a crepe at Beau Monde, right below L'Etage), and join us at the concert. It'll be good times for one and all.

Mae, with The Honorary Title, Between the Trees, and Far-Less

Both times I have seen Mae they sucked a lot but maybe with the new band members, they won't. Hope they don't.
