A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- WHYY is getting together with Bassetts Ice Cream to create a new ice cream flavor, but they're asking YOU to help. The question is, if WHYY were ice cream, what would it taste like? Submit your ideas for a new flavor based on WHYY to icecream@whyy.org. The only guidelines for the contest are that flavors be developed around chocolate and vanilla. Also, all entries must be received by noon on March 31, 2008.
- Web comics! We love them. Penny Arcade put up what may be the best memorial to Gary Gygax we've seen yet. Once again, Basic Instructions teaches us how to live, laugh, love... and win at rock-paper-scissors. Finally, VGCats presents 100 Kirbys.
- "Scientists at a Japanese university said Thursday they believed another planet up to two-thirds the size of the Earth was orbiting in the far reaches of the solar system." Apparently nobody has actually seen the planet; their calculations just lead them to believe it must exist. At the moment it's being called "Planet X," and, says the lead researcher, "Because of the very cold temperature, its surface would be covered with ice, icy ammonia and methane." (Via)
- CHUD got a little more info out of Djimon Hounsou about that dream project he said he was going to be in, and apparently it's Conan-related. Huh. That's unexpected!

- A charity in the UK whose goal is "to encourage more people to walk, and to ensure our streets and towns are designed to allow people to do that" is spearheading a campaign to pad lampposts on Brick Lane in London to prevent "walking and texting" injuries. They're offering to swap customers' HD-DVD players for Blu-ray players, with the customers paying any difference in price, even if the players were bought a few months ago. If the customer is done with hi-def formats altogether and doesn't want a Blu-ray player, they're offering a gift card for the full HD-DVD player's purchase price.
