Can't Miss This!
Friday is the drug that keeps everyone going. Race, creed, political stance, and musical preferences all break down at the singularity that is Friday. Friday shares its first two letters with another word near and dear to every American's heart: freedom. And what better place to celebrate Freedom Fridays but Philadelphia? If Elton sang it, it must be true.
AFRICAN FOOTPRINT: PHILADELPHIA PREMIER!
This South African born-and-bred song and dance performance is already a worldwide hit and now you can catch it at home in Philadelphia. African Footprint contains throbbing native rhythms, engaging melodies, and technically impressive and emotionally expressive dancing. This continues our habit of bringing you only the best performances by people who are much better at what they do than you are at what you do. Don't feel bad though, there's always time to give up and try something new! These prices are steep, but this isn't an every-month, or even every-year, event in the Illadelph, so consider taking her (or him - you can take him out, too, you know – it's the 21st century) to something that doesn't involve dinner or a movie.

The history of Philadelphia as told by two performers in this audience-interactive lesson in making fun of the past. Part of The Lights of Liberty Show, this stage performance is a testament to the fact that knowledge needn't be boring. We can't image only two people handling the width and breadth of the city's history, but for less than $20, why try to guess? Go! Learn!

Nothing in particular going on here, but we thought you'd be thirsty after hardly working, er, working hard, all week long. They have a happy hour that includes $2 domestic drafts, $4 well cocktails, a $4 buffet, $4 imported drafts, and much more. So, if you're looking to get silly in Center City tonight, we suggest that you at least start the festivities over there. You can't beat the deals and the location is as close to most Center City drones (us included) as you can ask for.
