A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- The upcoming print edition of Empire Magazine has a couple of cool new pictures from The Incredible Hulk. Looks like William Hurt makes a kick-ass General Ross!
- Rumor is that a sequel to The Last Starfighter is on the way, focusing on the son of the titular character from the first movie, and featuring the talents of the original writing, directing, and acting team of Nick Castle, Jonathan Betuel, and Lance Guest. Hol-ee crap. We have to admit, we totally love that movie, cheesy as it is, so we're looking forward to a follow-up!
- New trailers! Get Smart still looks pretty much completely unfunny. Step Brothers (via) made us laugh a number of times, however. Meanwhile, The Fall looks absolutely fantastic (via). We definitely have to see this one when it comes out. And finally, if you want to subject yourself to it for some reason, we also have the trailer for the direct-to-DVD release Starship Troopers 3: Marauder.
- Heh heh. A technical error at a local ABC affiliate in Buffalo, NY mistakenly switched the newsroom mics on in the middle of the Oscars broadcast. Enjoy the video, and audio, here.
- The saga of the secret shoppers. Interesting stuff. (Via Jill)
- Remember yesterday's note about the iTunes Store now being the second biggest music retailer in the US, behind Wal-Mart? Well now Bodog is taking wagers on when iTunes will surpass Wal-Mart. (Via Jill)
- We're sure some of you folks out there are fans of both the Phillies and Barack Obama. For you, there is a T-shirt. Enjoy!
- Cryptic Studios, makers of City of Heroes, are now working on a new superhero MMO called Champions Online, and the first trailer is here. Looks pretty neat, but it's hard to tell much about the game yet.
- A group of investors in Activision are suing the game publisher because they say the recent multi-billion dollar merger with media conglomerate Vivendi has put its investors in an "unfavorable minority position."
- Oh, great - now there might be an actors' strike that could stall movie productions. Jeez! Luckily, those looking forward to Transformers 2 (for whatever reason) will be pleased to know that Michael Bay doesn't plan to let such a strike slow down production. The movie should get underway in early June this year and get released in June of 2009.
- PicAnswers is a pretty neat idea: it's a community for asking questions that require visual aids. Upload a picture of that guy whose name you can't remember and wait for identifications to pour in. (Via)
- Manhunt 2 was famously censored in order to get an M rating from the ESRB, but if you want to see the original, unedited version of the game then those helpful hackers have the solution: a how-to guide to hacking the censorship out of your PSP copy of Manhunt 2.
- Wow. Did you know there's a Miss Playboy Mobile? We don't see any nudity on the front page, but it's still not entirely safe for work. Voting ends March 31st. (Via)
- While we're talking about ladies and mobile phones, check out this guide: The Art of Seducing a Woman with your Mobile Phone. (Via)
- Garfield Minus Garfield is just what you'd think: strips of the famous newspaper comic Garfield, but with the titular cat and all his dialogue removed. It makes for a surreal and sometimes pretty hilarious experience. (Via)
- There are eleven planets now? What the hell? Why didn't anyone tell us? Anyways, Maryn Smith just won the National Geographic planetary mnemonic contest with her brilliant new mnemonic for remembering the names of the planets: My Very Exciting Magic Carpet Just Sailed Under Nine Palace Elephants. That's Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Eris. (Ceres, Pluto, and Eris are considered dwarf planets.)
- Wow, turns out the sequel to Juno has already been written! By some guy. He put it up for sale on eBay for $100,001.00.
- A bar at the IT University of Copenhagen - appropriately named the Scrollbar - had a Super Mario-themed party a while back, and pics of the decorations, as well as the recipes for all the Super Mario-themed drinks, are up on their website. (Via)
- A peripheral-free, Rock Band-like rhythm game called Ultimate Band is coming to your DS and Wii from Disney Interactive by the holidays.
- The Windows Live Mail and Gmail CAPTCHA systems have both been cracked by spammers. Argh!

garfield minus garfield is one of the best time-wasters ever.
:) This one is particularly existential.
