- A woman leaped from her third-floor apartment window on South Street near 2nd yesterday morning to escape a knife-wielding rapist. She was listed in critical condition last night at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
- There were three more shootings in Philadelphia this weekend, two of them fatal. The non-fatal shooting took place after a man was enraged by a snowball fight between two boys, came back with a gun, and shot one of them. It was the victim's 16th birthday. He's now on life support at Temple University Hospital.
