Philadelphia Weirdness: Incident At Fairmont Park

It was a strange morning for jogger Charles S., who'd taken to the crisp air at 5:00 am on July 15th 1967. As he inhaled the fresh air into his lungs, two men suddenly joined him, the trio happily bounding along the pathway.

Charles noticed that the men had very blonde hair and eyes that seemed to be set close together, and rather eerily they said nothing to him.

As Charles slowed to a walk to finish his exercise, the men motioned to a pathway through the trees, where Charles was stunned so see an unusual "craft" situated on the ground, which in size would have covered one-third of a football field. The object sat motionless on four legs and was white in color on its upper and brown on its underside.

Again the men motioned, and Charles bravely stepped inside where he noted a computer-like machine and a few stray tubes, but nothing else to indicate how the machine operated. Bizarrely, although the interior was very mundane, there were photographs on the walls of attractive women, Scandinavian-looking, with eyes set close together. Suddenly, the craft lifted off the ground, yet Charles was amazed rather than scared to spend the day whizzing around in this surreal vessel, and was then returned to the cool air of the park the next morning.

As a reminder of his peculiar voyage, Charles was given an odd, black and white metallic disc which he noticed could float on occasion, but never again did he encounter the weird beings or the incredible craft, leaving this incident as unexplained.
