- The first teaser trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be shown in front of The Spiderwick Chronicles when it gets released next weekend. Of course it'll hit the web shortly afterward.
- According to Page Six, Woody Allen's upcoming film, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, features not only a threesome amongst Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, and Javier Bardem, but also a "steamy lesbian sex scene" between Johansson and Cruz. We'd pay extra to see that.

- Gary Oldman, Odette Yustman and Cam Gigandet are in negotiations to star in David Goyer's as-yet-untitled supernatural thriller, which follows a 19-year-old girl who is haunted by a dybbuk, the soul of a dead person barred from heaven, in the form of a young boy who perished in Auschwitz. Yustman would be the girl, Gigandet her boyfriend, and Oldman a spiritual specialist who helps her.
- Nerd World pulled some interesting bits out of a recent interview with Alan Moore, in which he reveals his plans for the future of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, his feelings about having been in The Simpsons, and his continued horror and disgust for the movie being made of his Watchmen.
- Did you know there's also an awards show for the best movie trailers? It's called, appropriately enough, the Golden Trailer Awards, and entries are being accepted through March 27th, with the show taking place in May. (Via)

- A new TV ad for Jason Statham's upcoming heist-gone-wrong flick, The Bank Job. Still looking good! (Via)
- A while back, Stallone was talking about doing a remake of Death Wish, but now apparently he's going to be doing a remake of a different Charles Bronson film: The Mechanic. Apparently the studio involved, MGM, is looking at folks like Ryan Gosling, Ben Foster, Cillian Murphy, and Elijah Wood to co-star.

- Activision recently talked about its release schedule for 2008, and it includes two Guitar Hero "add-ons" in Spring and a full sequel in Fall, a game adaptation of the upcoming James Bond film, and new Spider-Man and Marvel Ultimate Alliance games.
- If you, like us, are annoyed at how long it takes Firefox to launch, you might be interested in a little open source Windows utility called Firefox Preloader, which preloads some Firefox components so that when you actually launch the program, it takes just a second or two to begin your browsing session. - TinyURL is nice for condensing long web links, but it's also unfortunately quite good at obscuring where those links will take you. Enter Meaningful URL, which lets you shorten links but also give them meaningful new names. (Via)
