A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- Even though Will Arnett's performance as the voice of K.I.T.T. in the upcoming Knight Rider TV movie was already done and in the can, he's now been replaced with Val Kilmer due to a conflict of interest: Arnett has done voicework on GMC truck commercials for over a decade, and K.I.T.T. is a Ford Mustang. This sounds like a joke, but it's apparently really true.
- British rock group The Answer revealed a couple of interesting details about the upcoming Guitar Hero IV game in a recent press release: one of the songs on the soundtrack will be "Never Too Late" by The Answer, and the game will be released at the end of this year.
- In an interview recently, McG, director of the upcoming The Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, was asked who his dream Terminator would be. He mentioned Russell Crowe and Eric Bana, and then said Josh Brolin's name in a way that's making movie blogs everywhere wonder whether he's the guy who'll actually be playing the role in the new movie.
- If you haven't heard already, the official cause of Heath Ledger's death is "an accidental overdose of painkillers, sleeping pills, anti-anxiety medication and other prescription drugs."
- A short political musical web film is on the way entitled Barackula: The Musical. It features Justin Sherman playing Barack Obama during the time in his life when he was trying to "stave off a secret society of vampires at Harvard." Brilliant!
- The latest on the writers' strike: meetings are scheduled for Saturday wherein WGA leaders will try to convince members that the new tentative contract agreement is a good one. Then they'll vote on it, and if it's approved, WGA leadership could send its members back to work as soon as Monday, although the strike apparently won't officially be over until everything is ratified, which will take at least another two weeks.

- Sam Rockwell will play a man stranded on the moon for three years in a film entitled, appropriately enough, Moon. It'll be directed by Duncan Jones, the son of David Bowie, which also seems strangely appropriate.
- A Michigan boy was burned Wednesday morning when the PSP he was carrying in his pocket overheated and exploded.
- Casey Affleck is attached to star in the period noir drama The Kind One, which is an adaptation of the just-published novel by Tom Epperson. Affleck will play an amnesiac in '30s Los Angeles working for a sadistic mob boss known as "the Kind One." He makes the mistake of falling for his boss' girlfriend, and no doubt much wackiness ensues.
- Guy Pearce has joined the cast of The Road.
- That Left Behind video game is apparently so crappy they're actually giving away a million copies for free now.
- Assassin's Creed is coming to the PC (with missions), and the DS. Joystiq has video of the latter version. They say they "were expecting something somewhere between Superman 64 and being murdered," so they're very impressed that it actually looks not too terrible.
- A little band called Man Factory is doing a series of seven songs written from the perspectives of Street Fighter II characters. Click through to stream or download the tracks. And while we're talking Street Fighter II, it's now been confirmed that the entire cast from that game will be returning for Street Fighter IV.

- Joystiq found some exciting details about the upcoming Mario Kart Wii. Apparently there will be 32 courses, mid-air tricks, and Mii integration.
- Cinematical has links to a bunch of Bond-related material, including a Moviefone-exclusive poster, a behind-the-scenes video and a photo gallery.
- Editor Jill demanded that this commercial be included in the Whiz today. Remember, that's Tiddy Bear. With two Ds. (Via Jill)
