The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you.

- Cracked offers a horrifying (and hilarious) vision of what next year's Oscar nominees could be like if the writer's strike doesn't end (via). Meanwhile, Taco Bell has launched a contest on its website that offers striking WGA members a chance to win free food for a year (valued at $250) by "injecting fun and fresh bits of wisdom into the restaurant chain’s iconic Border Sauce packets." Brilliant!
- USA Today has named "I drink your milkshake" the movie catchphrase of the year. Really? We've heard that phrase, like, once before. Also, it makes no sense. But whatever.
- Sylvester Stallone has just signed a deal to both direct and star in two new action films. And they could very well end up being follow-ups to Rocky and Rambo. Sly! You just said you weren't going to do that! Damn it.
- With the holiday coming up frighteningly fast, a lot of websites are getting into the whole Valentine's Day thing. Moviefone offers us their picks for The 25 Best Romance Movies (via). Most of them are the smart, obvious choices (we especially approve of Casablanca, Moonstruck, Annie Hall, Dr. Zhivago, and The Princess Bride), but we'll never understand why anybody likes Wings of Desire. That is one of the most boring, confusing, stupid, pointless film we've ever seen. Anyways, Download Squad is celebrating the holiday, as well, with a list of "Valentine's Day gifts for the sex nerd(s) in your life." And Shiny Shiny has the "Top tenuous Valentine's Day presents." The fact that there are only five items on the list kind of ruins the pun, but whatever.

- Lucky Japanese Wii owners have already got their hands on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but some of them are having trouble getting it to play, apparently because the lenses in their Wiis are dirty. Turns out the game is the first dual-layer Wii disc, which means even if all of your other games run perfectly, a dirty lens can have issues with this game. That's a little frightening...
- Remember that thing we posted a while back about the UK's Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association saying that 90 percent of American Nintendo DS owners were were thought to be playing pirated games? Well, ELSPA denies ever having said anything of the kind. We thought that number seemed a little high...
