The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment.

- Nerd World has published excepts from the tax fraud and conspiracy trial of Wesley Snipes. Don't worry, they're not real. But they are hilarious.
- An interesting concept gadget: the inflatable mouse.
- Joe Johnston is officially the new director on The Wolfman. With that job filled again, the movie should be able to keep on schedule
- Video of an immersive desktop VR display created using a PS3 dev kit, a PlayStation Eye, and a few homemade tools.
- In case you missed the trailers for Wanted and Prince Caspian that aired during the Super Bowl, Cinematical has them both. And actually, if you want to see any of the Super Bowl commercials again, you can find them over on AOL's Super Bowl Commercials website. There were a lot of funny ones (like the Doritos Mouse Trap ad), some cool ones (like that Iron Man spot we told you about), a few questionable ones (what was with the vaguely racist SalesGenie.com commercials?), and some that were just stupid (the puzzling Under Armour fascist army ad, for instance, or the trying-way-too-hard Life Water commercial with the CG lizards doing the "Thriller" dance).
- Check out the Chinese trailer for John Woo's next movie, Red Cliff. Pretty hot stuff. (Via)
- The writers strike is another step closer to being over. The writers and majors studios have put together the outlines of a new contract that could be ratified by the WGA board as early as Friday, to be voted on by the membership at-large soon afterward.
- One Million Monkeys Typing is an interesting idea for a website. It's an evolutionary writing site that lets you read existing story snippets, vote on which story paths you like the best, and/or write your own new story path. The title, of course, refers to the famous theorem. (Via Jill)
- Mickey at the McFLY 2015 project tells us they're running a contest over there: go to their site, then email them and tell them what the moon says. 10 lucky winners, who'll be announced on March 1st, 2008, will get official McFLY 2015 stickers in the mail. Good luck!
- A very different kind of MMO is on the way: Lila Dreams, in which you'll be wandering the mind of an 11-year-old girl. There'll be no orcs and elves, no level grinding, and no hack and slash. Wah?!
- Anybody want to draw a comic?
- Joystiq has a gallery of pics of patent diagrams for horrifyingly stupid Wii Remote peripherals.
- Europeans could be reading novels on their DSes this winter, according to rumor.
- Seth Gordon, the director of the great video game competition documentary King of Kong, has worked in a cameo for Donkey Kong record-breaker Steve Wiebe in his upcoming film, Four Christmases. Wiebe will apparently play the brother-in-law of Vince Vaughn's character.
- Shiny Shiny has a pic and a video of a solar-powered cigarette lighter that's basically just a parabolic mirror. The perfect gift for those who only smoke in bright daylight!
- The top 5 robots to play with and claim it's educational.
- Beware, commenters! Someone might just illustrate your words.
- Cinematical has some more info on the next Bond film, including the news that Daniel Craig apparently wants to work some full frontal nudity into it, and some spoilers about a car chase.
