Make Alternate Musical Plans This Summer – Vineland's Been Canceled

We just saw the tip left on our contribute page that the Vineland Music Festival, which we'd actually been looking forward to, has been canceled. Or not canceled, organizers, concert organizers C3 Presents say, but rescheduled... to the summer of 2009. Why? C3 says that a "competing music festival at Liberty State Park in Jersey City on the same weekend, as well as several large amphitheater shows in Philadelphia and Camden scheduled for that same week gave the promoters second thoughts." The local opposition to the festival probably didn't help matters either.
