- Grindhouse is back up on The Movie Blog again thanks to some snazzy pics of the upcoming DVD box set of the film Grindhouse (no release date yet), and a grindhouse-style poster for the upcoming film Machete.
- The teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek has finally hit the web. Sadly, it's a low-quality, bootleg video, and they're not kidding about that whole "teaser" thing; there's almost nothing here to see. Still, it does manage to be a bit thrilling.
- A fun Nintendo rumor: there could be a Kid Icarus game on the way for the Wii from Factor 5.
- A five-minute video created by Nintendo of Japan to explain the features of Super Smash Bros. Brawl accidentally revealed three previously unannounced characters for the game: Lucario, Ness, and Jigglypuff. They're not exactly the most exciting characters, but more are always welcome.
- Game|Life got their first look at Penny Arcade Adventures Episode 1: On The Rain-Slick Precipice Of Darkness, and they're giving us lots and lots of details. The summary version: "I never laughed so hard during a demo of a game.... This is the world of Penny Arcade, brought to life." And if that's not enough for you, Joystiq has some gameplay footage.

- The Laser Target Alarm Clock. You're actually supposed to shoot it! That's how it works!
- In the future, we will apparently not watch TVs or stare at monitors, but have displays beamed directly into our eyes by high tech contact lenses. Blargh! Count us out. The future is creepy.
- NASA's making a sort of MMO where players will learn rocket science. In other MMO news, Age of Conan finally got a release date: March 25.
- The Oscars are hitting the internet hard this year. Nominations will screen live on the website, and there will be expanded online coverage.
- Oliver Stone is making a movie about W called Bush that will feature Josh Brolin as everybody's least favorite president.
- A game made up as a prank has now become reality thanks to the hard work of a fan. It's Super Mario Fusion: Mushroom Kingdom Hearts.
