At first glance, the details about the upcoming Center City District Restaurant Week look the same as always. So does the list of participating restaurants. What has changed, though? The cost of your prix fixe dinner will now be $35 instead of $30.
Why? Well, it's not explained. And we certainly can't figure it out, seeing as, from what we can tell, the menu prices at the featured restaurants haven't changed – which means that at some of the participating establishments, you may very well end up overpaying for your meal.
So, if you're planning on partaking of the bi-annual breaking-of-diets, be sure you review both the restaurant week and regular menus for your chosen restaurants. And leave a comment to let us know what you think about the price increase – and whether your dinner was worth it!

Perhaps this may actually be the doomsday sign for Restaurant Week. After all, the event is becoming less and less of a big deal as more restaurants incorporate price fix options into their regular menus.
