The Sixers weren’t able to pull it out against the Bulls, losing with a disappointing 100-97 score. Unfortunately it seems the Inqy is right: they’re not such a great team this year.
The Flyers made up a two-goal deficit in the third period and got the game against the Bruins into overtime; sadly, overtime lasted 43 seconds and gave the win to Boston with a score of 4-3. The boys did better on the road though, beating Washington on Sunday. Next up is the Florida Panthers Wednesday night at 7PM at the Wachovia Center; get tickets or watch on Comcast Sportsnet.
The Phantoms got eaten by Monsters 5-1 (sorry), and then a butterfly flapped its wings and they lost to the Monarchs 6-2 (sorry, sorry). In between they did show the Penguins who owns the ice (sorry).
The Wings handily defeated the Shamrox in their home opener Saturday. And to think they almost didn’t play!
Speaking of wins, the Kixx took on the Orlando Sharks and handed them back boots along with Philly’s winning 20-8 score.
If you're already hyperventilating at the thought of no more pro football, take heart: individual tickets for the Philadelphia Soul are now on sale.
