The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you.

- Fortune has ranked its Six Leaps of Innovation, rounding up what and whom to keep an eye on in 2008, and #5 is West Conshohocken's own Josh Kopelman. (Via Emily)
- It's a new local blog! This one is in support of a grassroots campaign to create an annual holiday celebrating the greatest state ever, Pennsylvania! Pennsylvania Day would be on March 4th. There's already a Spreadshirt shop. Very cool. Our only suggestion? Change the rather disgusting banner image at the top of the page. It's not exactly getting us excited about Pennsylvania. (UPDATE: Well, we'll be damned; they took our recommendation already!)
- The rumor is that Paramount will be following Warner Bros. and switching to Blu-Ray only, but a spokesman says the company has no such plans.
- MTV unveiled a new online tool yesterday: the Rhythm Game Track Finder. It lets you find which tracks are in which rhythm game via a database searchable by game, artist or song title. Neat. (Via)
- We think we may have just found the coolest thing at this year's CES so far: the Guitar Hero Air Guitar Rocker toy. It lets you really play air guitar, for real. Sort of. Other interesting stuff coming out of CES: the results of the 59th Annual Technology and Engineering Emmy Awards, Samsung's 3D HD plasma TV, Sony's first-party keyboard for the PSP, and Sony's hilarious attempt to make the PS3 profitable within the next fiscal year.
- Game|Life takes a look at the Harvey Birdman video game and decides it's funny, but only for fans of the show, and it's also a little too easy.
- David Lynch has a message for you: don't watch movies on a fucking telephone. Thank you, David Lynch!
- We love the band Celebration (it made this Phillyist's list of the top ten best bands discovered in 2007, after all), and we particularly love their song "Pressure," so we're very excited to be able to point you toward a free download of the track on iTunes. Go get it and listen to it right now!

- A film adaptation of the work of Robert E. Howard called Solomon Kane is planned as the first in a trilogy, and stars James Purefoy in the lead role, and Max von Sydow and Pete Postlethwaite in other roles.
- Captain Olimar from Pikmin has just been officially announced as a playable character in Smash Bros. Brawl.
- Heh. Joystiq has a short and amusing post about the PS3 clone known as the Winner.
- Look, it's the longest YouTube video ever, clocking in at an astounding 9 hours! Only problem is, it's also apparently incredibly boring, and just features a guy hanging out at his place for the evening. (Via)
- As a frustrated Comcast customer, this Phillyist was rather pleased to learn that the company might get fined by the FCC for throttling Bit Torrent traffic.
- The Post-It Note Project sounds very neat. It's easy to take part, too: just decorate a post-it note and put it up somewhere in your town on the first of February.
- Meat house! It's like a gingerbread house, but it's made of meat! Brilliant! (Via Sarah) UPDATED: Corrected link.
- Bologna Bubble Gum is thankfully not gum that tastes like bologna. Instead, it's gum that's shaped and packaged like bologna... with a fruit flavor. Actually, that might be worse... (Via Sarah)
- The latest rumors about BioShock are that a prequel game is in the works, and so is a movie adaptation.
- We've got a bunch of fun movie lists for you today: the top 50 lost films of all time (via), Cinematical's DVD wish list for 2008, the A-Z of cinema (via), and Moviefone's picks for the Top 25 Oscar Best Picture Winners (via).
- A new study shows that violent movies bring the crime rate down. Woo hoo!
- Ice Cube wants to be B.A. in the A-Team movie - and he will do the mohawk. Awesome.

I heart Celebration, too! This Modern Tribe would've been in my top 10 of '07 if I'd ever finished writing that post. Waah!
