TelePhillyist
What's new and/or interesting on TV this week.

BCS Championship Game: Ohio State vs. LSU (Mon, 8:15PM-11:30PM, Fox) - Woo hoo! It's the college football Super Bowl! Of course, the bittersweet thing is, this means college football is over for the season. But at least it'll go out with a bang.
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (Mon, 10PM-10:30PM, Food Network) - This episode's theme is eateries that are open 24/7, and one of the places being visited is The Dining Car & Market right here in Philadelphia.
Award Shows (Mon, 9PM-11PM, VH1; Tue, 9PM-11PM, CBS; Sun, 8PM-11PM, NBC) - Awards season has begun in earnest. We have the Critics' Choice Awards on Monday night, then the People's Choice Awards on Tuesday night, and finally the Golden Globes on Sunday night.
Parking Wars (Tue, 10PM-11PM, A&E) - These are the first two episodes of a new reality show following the adventures of employees of the Philadelphia Parking Authority. No joke! Thrill as the PPA deals with citizens pissed off about a broken meter, crying over a car getting a boot put on it, arguing about a ticket given in a rush hour zone, and mad about all the paperwork at the impound lot.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Sun, 8PM-9PM, Fox) - This Phillyist has been looking forward to this show for a long time. It's the pilot episode of a sci-fi action series based on the Terminator movies and set between Terminator 2 and Terminator 3. It follows Sarah Connor (Lena Headley) and her son John (Thomas Dekker) as they flee from a killer robot sent back from the future to eliminate John before he can become the leader of the human revolution that fights back against the evil machines. Luckily for John and Sarah, another robot (Summer Glau) has been sent back to protect them.
Masterpiece (Sun, 9PM-10:30PM, WHYY) - Masterpiece Theatre is back, but with the "Theatre" lopped off of the title, and Gillian Anderson as the host. This episode is an adaptation of Jane Austen's Persuasion which features Anthony Head (Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as the main character's father.

I really can't believe Parking Wars. Not that an experience with the Parking Authority isn't fraught with drama and insight on the human condition, but...
