We love lolcats. And we love the holiday season. What better way to combine those two loves (and they're loves that we know you all share with us) than to announce our Holiday Lolpet (that's right, any pet will do!) competition? To enter, upload your original holiday-themed photograph to Flickr and tag it both "lolpet" and "Phillyist." Your photos will show up here, and the winning photo(s) will be published on Phillyist with your byline. Plus, one lucky winner will receive a custom-made Phillyist tshirt!
We'll be accepting entries through December 20, with the winning lolpet being featured on Christmas Eve (we're on hiatus Christmas Day). There's no cap to the number of entries you can submit, so start snapping away* today: you've got as many chances as you want to make it perfect!
*No pets? No worries! Find a photo on the Flickr Advanced Photo Search that's been saved under a Creative Commons license allowing for commercial use, with permission to modify the image, and create your own caption. Just make sure you credit the original photographer.

I couldn't understand why my work had blocked I Can Has Cheezburger?, and then I went there...Dear Lord, I could look at lolcats for hours.
