We know many of you (like most of us) are big YouTube trollers. So chances are good you've heard of Dutch rockers Racoon (MySpace), whose video for "Close Your Eyes" (feel free to press the play button in the insert now) has gotten them some major attention on this side of the pond. And it's not hard to understand why. The band recently released its album Another Day in the United States. (It was originally released in the Netherlands in 2005.) If you haven't heard it, "Close Your Eyes" gives you a fair indication of Racoon's sound. Acoustic rocks with some killer hooks. They'll be a great band to see playing with 90s alt-rock darlings The Lemonheads (MySpace) next Thursday night at the Troc. The Lemonheads have undergone major lineup changes over the years, but with Evan Dando, the band's creative force, still around, we expect that it will be a show well worth seeing. If for no other reason, it should certainly be worth seeing Racoon. And Phillyist wants to send you to the show to check out this up-and-coming band with our compliments. So fill out the form below and one winner will get a spot on the guest list (+1). We'll keep this contest open until 5:00 PM on Friday, December 12, and we'll contact the winner via e-mail on Saturday. Good luck!
