No Reservations Required

You wouldn't know it from looking at me, or from looking at Ross, but this Phillyist has always had a thing for bad boys. Somewhere near the top of my list of dirty, sexy, hunky sits Anthony Bourdain. Sure, he's got a history of substance abuse, smokes like a chimney, is far too fond of fried foods, and, oh yeah, is old enough to be my father. But I'd run off on a culinary adventure with Tony in a heartbeat. I just need to meet him first.

Good thing for me (bad thing for Ross), Mr. No Reservations himself will be making an appearance at the Central Library tomorrow afternoon to discuss No Reservations: Around the World on an Empty Stomach, and I may get a chance at a bit of fantasy fulfillment. No, I don't expect him to sweep me off to Guadalajara – but maybe I'll get to shake his hand. I'd settle for that. He is a married man, after all.
