The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you.

- Here's the fascinating story of how amateur sleuths solved the mystery of the missing remains of Czar Nicholas II's family members. (Via Jill)
- Just because the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is over doesn't mean we're out of fun Thanksgiving-related links for you. First of all, turns out it's probably not the turkey itself that makes you sleepy after the traditional Thanksgiving gorging - it's the overeating. Also, Radar Online has a hilarious list of 50 things not to say at the Thanksgiving table (too late for this year, but certainly keep them in mind for next year). (Via Sarah)
- But hey, that other holiday is on its way now, bearing down on us like a runaway train. So here are some lists of favorite holiday movies, and a list of movie-related holiday gifts (via). Our favorite item at the latter link is the Dumbledore's Army gay pride T-shirt.
- This video from the filming of The Hulk in Rio De Janeiro is narrated in another language, but c'mon, you were just going to look at the pictures anyway.
- Entertainment Weekly has named Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling their Entertainer of the Year. You go, Jo!
- Bah ha ha! Check out this hilarious and awesome trailer for the comedy action film In Bruges, starring Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, and Ralph Fiennes. Oh, but be warned - there is some NSFW language.
- Natalie Portman says she won't be doing more Star Wars films - but not because she was awful in them and they were awful; because "When something works you don’t touch it." Yeah, because that's definitely George "Special Edition" Lucas's motto...
- Since the whole making a movie based on a Disneyland/world ride worked so well with the Pirates movies, Disney is now planning to make a movie based on the Jungle Cruise ride. All we can say to that is... d'oh.
- This may not excite anybody else as much as it does us, but today The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets announced that they started writing a new album a couple days ago.
- Hey, remember Big Head Todd and the Monsters? Well, they actually have a new album, and each day this week, XPN is going to offer a free download of a song from it on their blog. Here are the first two.
- The NBC time-travelling series Journeyman will probably end after its twelfth episode, according to series creator Kevin Falls, due to the writers' strike and the show's poor ratings. Meanwhile, NBC has ordered a full season of spy/action/comedy show Chuck, which has the highest ratings of any of the network's new shows.
- Rumor is that Christian Bale might play John Connor in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, the upcoming fourth Terminator movie. Dude, that would rock.
- Some Guitar Hero news: Activision says extra, standalone wireless controllers for all four versions of Guitar Hero III will finally be available early next year. Meanwhile, in a truly pathetic and transparent move to get their hands on some more cash, The Romantics are suing Activision, claiming that the cover of their song "What I Like About You" featured in Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s - a cover which Activision properly secured the rights to record - is too accurate to the original, and infringes on the band's trademark sound.
- Wii owners in Japan got a new Channel the other day; no word yet when we'll get it in the US, but hopefully soon, because it sounds pretty cool. Amongst other things, it allows you to download demos of upcoming DS games directly to your DS.
- Speaking of the DS, here's a cool device that allows you to play your old Famicom games on the handheld console.
- A store clerk opened a returned Xbox 360 only to discover that "the console had been gutted, the controllers were missing, and the HDMI cables had been replaced with printer cords." To simulate the weight of the Xbox's innards, the thief had replaced them with an old medical textbook. That's just wrong. Hilarious, brazen, and vaguely ingenious, but seriously wrong.
- And finally... monkeys!!!
