The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you.

- Frank Darabont changed the ending of The Mist for the movie - and King approved.
- Not only is Guitar Hero III expected to single-handedly cause huge growth in the video game industry, it's also apparently causing growth in album sales for the artists whose songs appear in it.
- Heads up, amateur scribes and video game fans! BioWare is looking for a few good writers, and no experience is necessary.
- Director Mike Newell says his upcoming film Prince of Persia—you know, the one based on the video game—is not a video game movie. Uh... yeah, okay.
- Video game or videogame? We often struggle with this question, and usually come down on the side of the former rather than the latter. What do you guys think?
- An interesting little interview with Heath Ledger about his role as the Joker in the upcoming Dark Knight.
- And while we're talking Dark Knight, here's an interesting video/slideshow of the recent filming in Hong Kong.
- Harry Potter casting news: the matriarch of the Malfoy family, Narcissa, will be played by Helen McCrory.
- We got to see the new trailer for Guy Ritchie's next flick, Revolver, on the big screen last night, in front of a preview screening of Southland Tales (expect a review closer to the local release), but lucky for you, the thing is also online now. There are cool things in this trailer, but also a lot of corny bits, so we're not sure how to feel yet. Guess we have to wait and actually watch the movie when it comes out... (Via)
- Michael Bay is apparently declaring a war of obfuscation against those who wish to ferret out plot details and other information about the next Transformers movie. They're going to (in fact, they've already begun) deliberately leak a lot of fake scripts and treatments to lead people off the scent.
- A website called JFX Online was apparently the first to get pics of Zachary Quinto as Spock, but that site appears to be down at the moment, so you can find copies at SlashFilm, and IESB.net has their own stuff, including a video. (Via)
- Joystiq has dug up the latest news on the Canadian Miss Video Game competition. And no, it's not awarding a prize to the hottest woman who plays video games, it's awarding a prize to the woman who's best at playing video games, period. (Although L337Lauren, the young woman in the lead at the moment, does also happen to be quite attractive.)
- Joystiq has video, pictures, and the sordid story of Sunday night's Super Mario Galaxy launch party in NYC.
- The first trailer for LEGO Batman is here. But it's really just an extremely short teaser, so don't get your hopes up.
- When fads merge to create monstrous superfads, you get something like WiiKitty.com. Okay, this one is just creepy. (Via)
