Annuals & Manchester Orchestra TONIGHT @ North Star

annuals_manchester.jpgWhat to do on a chilly Tuesday night in Philadelphia? Usually the answer is 'watch Beauty & The Geek' but not tonight, rockers.

Tonight, Annuals and Manchester Orchestra are co-headlining at North Star. There's really not a better way to coax yourself into the fall weather than heading out to a show and doing a little swaying to the grooves laid down. And let's face it, there's also not a better way to shake yourself out of that S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) we all know you've been experiencing.

Now, you may ask, what can Phillyist do for you? It's not what we can do for you, but what Annuals/Manchester Orchestra can do for you. The bands made an exclusive, limited edition 7” that’s only available at the shows on this tour. The record contains each band covering each other’s tracks: Annuals cover Manchester Orchestra’s “Where Have You Been,” and Manchester Orchestra cover Annuals' “Brother.”

What's lucky about that? What's lucky is that we'll be giving one of these bad boys away. The contest will conclude tomorrow at COB (arbitrarily defined by Phillyist as 5 p.m., when all businesses should close, really).
