A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- Selecting a presidential candidate to vote for can be hard, and involve a lot of thinking and studying. So why not just let the internet do it for you? This quiz claims to analyze your opinions and select the best candidate for you. (Via Jill)
- This may be the greatest website ever created. We won't tell you anything about it; just click through so you can discover its wonders for yourself. (Via Mike V.)
- Movie exec: "Gee, the Blade franchise kind of petered out. I know what we'll do! We'll reboot it! Egads, I'm a genius."
- We read a pretty good number of web comics, but there's something we really love about Basic Instructions.
- Oh noes! The Spy Hunter movie lost the Rock! They might want to think about just packing the whole thing in and going home.
- The savvy folks at the Movie Blog suspect that the success of Transformers means that a lot of other giant robot movies are in our future, and they're probably right. They have therefore helpfully mapped out for us which giant robots we are likely to see cinematicized in the near future. (We're reasonably certain we made up the word "cinematicized," but you knew what it meant, right??)
- Guy Ritchie will be directing a Dirty Dozen remake. It could work!
- Apparently, the BAFTA gives out video game awards, as well as movie awards. Who knew? Here are the results.
- A year or so ago, we never would have thought this kind of news would be same-old, same-old, but here we are again staring at the cold hard fact that Nintendo is raking in the cash hand over fist, while Sony is losing it at about the same rate.
- Rupert Evans, the dude who played the annoying, naive human sidekick to Hellboy in the first Hellboy movie, just might be playing Superman in JLA. We have to give that casting a big thumbs down. It doesn't look like Kryptonite would be necessary to defeat Evans - a stiff wind would probably do the job.
- Word is Nintendo might be planning a download service for the DS similar to the Wii's Virtual Console, through which you'd be able to purchase and play Game Boy games.
- In other fun Nintendo news, they just announced that you'll be able to record 3-minute videos of your fights on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and then send them to your Wii friends.
- Joystiq's got a gallery of images from the upcoming HD version of Street Fighter 2, and despite the fact that we're pretty tired of new versions of Street Fighter 2, we have to admit, it looks pretty cool.
- Early Japanese reviews of Super Mario Galaxy are very positive! Exciting.
- Purple Rain the greatest soundtrack of all time?! We may be biased, as we somehow lack the gene that would allow us to enjoy the music of Prince, but that seems like a horrible selection to us. It's tops on a list of the 50 greatest soundtracks put together by Vanity Fair; more details here. (Via)
- Now that Dumbledore has been outed, the obvious question is, what other fictional characters could turn out to be gay? The Vulture at New York Magazine and Radar Online each have lists. (Via)

Man, my presidential candidate was Biden. Not that I'm complaining, but I don't think I'll have the chance to cast my vote. And the only candidate out of all of them that agreed with me about Iraq was Brownback. Blah.
I got Dodd, with Kucinich a close second.
"Cinematicized," gets eight hits on Google... counting this page.
Re: The presidential candidate selector.
Minnesota Public Radio version is a bit more in depth.
According to the WQAD selector my top five are:
Joe Biden
Dennis Kucinich/Chris Dodd (tie)
Mike Gravel
Hillary Clinton/John Edwards/Barack Obama (tie)
Bill Richardson
According to the Minnesotans, my top five are:
John McCain
Joe Biden
Rudy Giuliani
Duncan Hunter/Barack Obama (tie)
Tom Tancredo/Fred Thompson (tie)
All I can say is: Nixon, now more than ever.
bruhinb: I should have figured it was too obvious a word-creation for me to be the first one to invent it. Ah, well.
Toby: I'll have to check out that other quiz. And, uh... are you talking about Cynthia Nixon?
