Cute Overload

We are totally enamored of the accessories made by Jessica Evans, proprietor of In Hope: Readymade Cute. This crafty chick from Fishtown creates all kinds of accessories, from vinyl cuff bracelets adorned with flowers or cupcakes, to purses covered with octopus outlines or retro video game characters. We asked her what inspires her, and she told us it was whatever made her smile.

"No matter if it is a robot in hell or a laser gun shooting hearts, I just like to make light-hearted, cute things," says Evans.

We are angling for this blue vinyl clutch purse because it's so sailor chic. In Hope also makes accessories for men, from neckties to winter scarves.

Evans, who works as a high school teacher, sells most of her goods on her webpage and in small consignments shops in other large cities.
