- Capcom has announced that they're finally going to make a Street Fighter IV, and you can see a trailer for it right here. We're certain nothing in this video is anything like what the actual game is going to be like, but the thought of a new Street Fighter game that isn't just another iteration of Street Fighter II is still pretty exciting.
- Another new trailer from Capcom, this one actually containing quite a bit of exciting game play footage, is this one for Bionic Commando.
- Joystiq has a look at the Rock Band drum kit peripheral, and the process for breaking it down and setting it up again. In other Rock Band news, the list of Achievements for the Xbox 360 version has been released.
- After reexamining Amazon's patents, the patent office has decided to reject a bunch of them, including the one for one-click ordering.
- After dropping the price on their DRM-free offerings, the iTunes Music Store quickly expanded its offerings, and is now selling over 2 million DRM-free tracks, making it the "largest (legal) library of DRM-free music available online."
- Nintendo has posted an explanation of how the controls will work in Super Smash Bros. Brawl if you choose to play with the Wii Remote. Hmm... looks like grabbing items will be tricky...

- There's news about another person in contention for the role of Wonder Woman in JLA, and it's Shannyn Sossamon. Apparently she has auditioned, and some people like her for the part, but director George Miller wasn't all that impressed, so...
- The 40GB PS3 has finally been officially announced for the US. It'll apparently go on sale November 2nd for $400, with no backwards compatibility. Meanwhile, the 80GB version will drop to $500. Whatever. Your console is still lame, Sony.
- The New York Observer is reporting that an anonymous source told them that Universal Pictures has dropped Robert Rodriguez's remake of Barbarella, apparently because he insisted on casting fiance Rose McGowan in the lead role. Hee hee.
- We have a release date and a title for the Wolverine movie. X-Men Origins: Wolverine will be coming out on May 1, 2009. Supposedly the movie will feature many mutants, some new to the franchise and some familiar, and Liev Schreiber is in final talks to play a young William Stryker. Shooting will begin later this year in Australia, then move to New Zealand, and finally to New Orleans - fueling speculation that the film might include an appearance by Gambit.

- Brian DePalma will make the prequel The Untouchables: Capone Rising his next film, with Gerard Butler playing a younger version of Sean Connery's character from the first film.
- A couple of movie sites just went live, including the one for Hellboy 2, which features lots of tasty production art.
- Scientists just found in Argentina the skeleton of what appears to be a new species of dinosaur - "a 105-foot plant-eater that is among the largest dinosaurs ever found." (Via Jill)
