The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you.

- Holy crap, people! Stephen Colbert is running for president! He announced his candidacy on his show last night. Colbert has said he'll run as both a Republican and a Democrat, so he can lose twice, and that he will run in South Carolina, and South Carolina alone (that being his home state - and the home to one of the key, early primaries). Finally, a candidate we can support! (Via Jill)
- These rabbits disapprove of you. Could they be the next lolcats? Only time will tell. (Via Sam)
- The latest Star Trek casting rumor making its way across the internets: Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy.
- How to read classic literature on your DS.
- The 30 Most Hideous Gaming Tattoos. We think some of these are actually cool, or at least impressive, but others... yeah. Pretty bad. (Via)
- Hee hee hee. A "red ring of death" condolence card, for those friends of yours who've had some trouble with their Xboxes. (Via)
- This is pretty hilarious: a little slideshow showing us what the Google homepage would look like if it were designed to work most efficiently with the Google search engine. (Via)
- Ooh! Entertainment Weekly got an exclusive sneak peek at Alan Moore's long-awaited third League of Extraordinary Gentlemen graphic novel. If all you know about these books is the horrible, horrible movie adaptation, you need to go buy them and read them immediately. They're some of the best comics you're ever likely to see. (Via)
- Clint Eastwood's next movie is Changeling, a true story about a woman whose child went missing in the 1920s, and who was thrown into an insane asylum when she claimed the LAPD gave her back the wrong child - even though, as it turned out, they did. She then went to court, brought down a bunch of officials, and sparked changes in insanity legislation. John Malkovich, Jeffrey Donovan and Colm Feore just joined the cast of the film, which already stars Angelina Jolie.
- We're kind of floored that the Herbert estate is trying to get yet another film adaptation of Dune made, but apparently the project is moving forward, and Peter Berg will direct.
- D'oh! Southland Tales has been delayed again! This time it's only a matter of a week, but still.
- Cracked has for you The 10 Most Asinine Movie Twist Endings. A number of these we haven't seen, but of the ones we have, we pretty much agree (although we really did like Signs the first time we saw it). This should go without saying, but the page is covered with spoilers, so don't look too carefully at the entries for any movies you might actually want to see at some point. (Via)
- Apparently if you go to see the IMAX version of I Am Legend (it comes out December 14) you'll also get to see a seven-minute scene from The Dark Knight, described as a prologue about the Joker. Sweet!
- The only Oscar Orson Welles ever won is soon to go up for auction at Sotheby's. Man, that'd be cool to have. We're guessing it's a bit out of our price range, though.
- Your Name Here sounds like a very interesting fictionalized biography of Philip K. Dick, which essentially turns him into a character in one of his stories. It stars Bill Pullman and Taryn Manning.
- Uh oh - a new study found that censorship of bloggers is increasing. In fact, they're now facing levels of censorship equal to those experienced by print and television media.
- Joystiq has for you what you've desperately been waiting for all your life without even knowing it: gameplay footage from Dirty Dancing: The Game. It looks desperately boring to us, but what do we know?
- If you've ever wondered just how the ESRB comes up with those ratings, you might want to read this interesting feature on Gamasutra on that very topic. (Via)
- A new video from The Simpsons Game reveals that one section of the game - called Big Super Happy Fun-Fun Game - will be a parody of Japanese culture, with at least one reference to Katamari Damacy.
