- 2,350 unionized janitors and maintenance workers who clean Center City buildings could strike at midnight tonight when their contracts expire, unless they come to an agreement with management before then. Talks are continuing, so we'll see what happens...
- Around 12:50AM Saturday morning in Springfield Township, Delaware County, an 18-year-old recent Springfield High School graduate driving a 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra struck another vehicle head-on and then crashed into a tree. The young driver died, as did the 66-year-old who was apparently driving the other vehicle. Police are still investigating how the accident occurred, but it's possible it was the result of drag racing.
- The Daily News takes a look at the MySpace page of the 14-year-old who may have been planning a massacre at the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in Montgomery County, and they find plenty of evidence of a deranged mind obsessed with violence, shooting, and murder.
