The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you.

- Sometimes, SNL reveals that they've really still got it. As they do in this beautiful musical love letter to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. (Via Jill)
- "Engineers have shown how to grow forests of tiny cylinders called carbon nanotubes onto the surfaces of computer chips to enhance the flow of heat at a critical point where the chips connect to cooling devices called heat sinks." Dude. We're living in the future. (Via)
- We told you yesterday that Nintendo is sending out free Wii Remote jackets to any Wii owner who wants them. Well, turns out this little burst of generosity is going to cost them $17 million. Holy crap! If they want to just give away $17 million, we can give them an address they can mail the cash to...
- Uh... why have they given Hello Kitty the body of a sexy human woman and tarted her up? Why, Mommy, why?!?
- Images from the Adam West Batman TV series and movie overlaid with dialogue from Frank Miller's incredibly dark take on the caped crusader. It's sort of an lolcats kind of idea, but it's got Batman! What could be better? (Oh, and apparently, it's been done before.) (Via)
- Aww, George Takei got an asteroid named after him!
- Rumor is, Guillermo del Toro will finally get to do his longtime passion project after he finishes Hellboy 2: a film adaptation of Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness. We were disappointed by Hellboy, but we have to admit we're still looking forward to the sequel, and definitely looking forward to any movie version of Mountains of Madness, which is one of Lovecraft's best pieces.
- Sam Bayer, best known as a director of music videos and commercials, might end up directing the remake of Near Dark.

- More scandal from Indy 4: a dude stole a bunch of photos, and possibly a copy of the screenplay, from the set. But the FBI have already caught him.

- The Movie Blog has apparently gotten its hands on some spoilers for the new Hulk movie, but we sure as heck ain't reading them.
- Michael Bay is producing a Friday the 13th remake, with the Freddy vs. Jason writers doing the writing. Ugh. We guess it'll be pretty scary, because we're already horrified just reading about it.
- Cinematical has for us Seven Cool Horror Films of the 80s. We still don't get why anybody likes Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and we're not convinced that The Fog is really all that great, either, but we're with them on Hellraiser and The Lost Boys.
