- Richard Taylor of Weta says the weapons they made for Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian "were more detailed and elaborate than any they've ever done before." Which, since this is Weta, is really saying something.
- Game|Life used Labor Day as a day to honor the harder working members of the video game community.

- Uh oh, bad news: almost all the early reviews of Wes Anderson's film The Darjeeling Limited are awful! How disappointing.
- Jon Bon Jovi is going into movie producing. His inaugural project will be a film adaptation of Jessica Blank's upcoming novel Almost Home.
- There was going to be an action thriller directed by Jan de Bont, starring John Cusack, and entitled Stopping Power, but sadly a financial backer pulled out at the last minute and now the movie won't happen.
- That upcoming movie starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino has picked up some more exciting cast members.
- Kevin Smith has finished his screenplay for Red State and says it's "a weird, relentlessly bleak and extremely unsettling affair" that's "totally different than anything I've written before."
- A photo snapped by a fellow on tour at Madame Tussauds in London seems to indicate that the folks there are at work on a wax statue of Master Chief himself, of Halo fame.
