The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you.

- You seriously need to read this freaking hilarious post by Scott Adams about monkeys, Republicans, sex, and holograms out of the distant past.
- The Laugh-Out-Loud Cats are pleasantly retro, and yet at the same time, very much of-the-moment. They are also funny. (Via)
- It's new Bruce, for free on the iTunes! You know you want it. (Via) And while we're talking free music, how about a new PJ Harvey song, a new Spoon song, and a new track from The New Pornographers.
- When we're ordering food, we generally like to go the whole nine yards and get it delivered (we're lazy like that), but if for some reason we have to go pick it up, this new GoMobo thing sounds like a pretty cool idea. You sign up and then create a bunch of codes, each one of which represents an entire food order to a particular restaurant. Then when you're ready, you just text the code to them, which will not only order you food, but also pay! A confirmation message lets you know exactly when your food will be ready, at which point you go to the GoMobo Express sign at your restaurant, pick up your food and go. The only problem here is, we don't remember seeing any GoMobo Express signs at any restaurants we go to. GoMobo has a solution for that, too: proselytize for them!.
- A handy flowchart for determining whether you are, or are not, Amy Winehouse. Enjoy!
- Holy crap - somebody's actually going to try to make a movie of Joust. You remember, Joust, right? It's that arcade game from the '80s where you were a knight on a giant flying ostrich and you had to knock other knights off of their ostriches while dodging dragons and lava. Even for an '80s arcade game, it was pretty insane. So how do you make a movie of that? Well, here's what they say: "We took one element of the game and the brand itself and built a whole new world around it for the film."
- Game|Life got to play Geometry Wars Galaxies for the Wii at PAX, and they give it a big thumbs up, even going so far as to say it's better than the Xbox 360 version. Exciting! And speaking of PAX, check out Nerd World's round-up, and Wired's photo gallery.
- What with all the ridiculous paranoia in the media about how video games are destroying our children, we always enjoy reading some positive news about video games - like this survey wherein an overwhelming majority of people experienced family bonding through casual gaming, as well as an increase in various skills, stress relief, and confidence building.
- You can watch a fake documentary, narrated by John Rhys-Davies and featuring the history of the fictional character Takezo Kensei from Heroes, right here. (Via)
- Well, this kind of sucks. Apparently Bruce Campbell and filmmaker Don Coscarelli were arguing about details of Bubba Nosferatu, the much-anticipated sequel to Bubba Hotep, and Campbell decided to walk away from the project in order to keep his friendship with Coscarelli. Which means definitely no Campbell in the movie.
- The Movie Blog has an interesting list of bad movies that are also good.
- Somebody's making a horror movie called Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre, said to be a mixture of The Blair Witch Project, The Evil Dead and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Are whales being killed by people? Or people being killed by whales? Or people killed by people while watching whales? We can hardly wait to find out.
- Apparently Richard Branson is looking to revive an old British comic strip character called Dan Dare: Pilot of the Future. There are plans in the works for a comic book series by Garth Ennis and then a movie adaptation.
- Click to watch an intriguing new trailer for The Hunting Party. The movie stars Richard Gere and Terrence Howard and is based on a true story about a journalist, a camera man, and a sound man who try to get an interview with the top war criminal in Bosnia and end up uncovering a bunch of dangerous secrets. (Via)
- There's still not a lot coming out about the mysterious project Cloverfield, but you can at least hear a sound from it, either by downloading it here, or waiting around here until it plays. (Via)
- Some experts at the Leipzig Games Convention have gathered together and selected the most influential video games of all time. Of course, the LGC wasn't all about making lists; there were also booth babes (nsfw video included)! (Via)
- Heh. Valve had to ban the playing of BioShock in their own offices so they could get some work done.
- Glad's having a Steamiest Chef Contest, and one of the nominees is Philly's own Dave Lieberman, from the Food Network, so you should obviously go and vote for him now. Philly pride! (Via Slashfood, Via Sarah)
