David Gilmour Event Giveaway

So remember the other day when we were talking about some of the cool things we get to do because of Phillyist? (Okay, so we were mostly making fun of Amy Winehouse, who, incidentally, kind of scares us a little now, but that's not the point.) Well, here's your chance to join in on the fun.

See, we got an email the other day inviting us to preview David Gilmour's new concert DVD Remember That Night - Live at the Royal Albert Concert Hall at the Riverview on Saturday, Sept. 15. The event organizers are going to play the entire DVD on the big screen for us before the rest of the world gets to see it. Oh, and did we mention that the concert features songs from Gilmour's On an Island disc, along with Pink Floyd favorites like "Echoes" performed in its entirety for the first time in twenty years? And did we mention that it also includes Gilmour performing with guests like David Crosby, Graham Nash and...wait for it...David Bowie?

Pretty awesome, right? It gets better. After we get to preview Gilmour's DVD, we're going to be plugged in to an exclusive satellite Question and Answer session with the man himself. Yep. That's right. A Question and Answer session with David Gilmour. Oh, and he's going to play a one-song live performance, just for us.
