A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- Here's a rumor we hope isn't true: the JLA movie might be done entirely in motion capture CGI. Blargh! We want either completely animated characters, or real people in real suits, not some creepy hybrid of the two!
- We heard a long time ago that Morgan Freeman and David Fincher were developing a film adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke's Rendezvous With Rama, but there's been nothing about it for so long we kind of assumed the project was dead. Happily, Freeman says this is not true and that they're still working on it.
- Sony is turning PS3s in Europe into TV tuners with personal video recorders. Video recorded thusly can then be converted for viewing on PSPs. Meanwhile, Europeans will also be getting a video download service for their PSPs. In both cases, they're still "investigating" doing something similar in America.
- Here's the trailer for the inevitable video game based on the movie based on the book The Golden Compass. Of course, the game will probably suck, but the trailer does at least promise that it will include giant polar bear fighting, which is pretty cool.
- A Wii version of the Harvey Birdman video game could be coming, according to a listing on Gamefly.
- Videos of Super Mario World levels hacked so that they can be beaten without moving at all. Your mind will be blown.
- Found near the end of another hilarious post by Scott Adams is a link to a story about a new design for a time machine that could allow us to travel back in time. Unfortunately, you'd need access to incredible gravitational forces to build it, and you wouldn't be able to use it to travel back to a time before the time machine was built.
- Some Google and YouTube news coming your way. First, Nerd World has the skinny on what the ads will look like that are going to be added to YouTube videos. Download Squad lets us know that Google is adding YouTube videos to Google News, and they're creating a new add-on to Google Earth called Google Sky which will let you look at the stars, as well as distant planets and galaxies.
- Cinematical offers its picks for the seven all-time best double features. There are some weird choices, and one cheat (a triple feature), but we like Blade Runner and Dark City, Alien and Aliens, and Die Hard and Lethal Weapon.
- Rumor is that Anthony Michael Hall's character in Dark Knight will be (beware possible spoilers!) a reporter who figures out Bruce Wayne's secret and, being jealous of him, decides to out him - but the Joker steps in to stop him. Interesting...
- Microsoft's new SideWinder gaming mouse is a little over the top if you ask us. Does anybody really need "five programmable buttons, adjustable weights and an on-board LCD display" on his/her mouse?
- This post just makes us sad, because it says we may never get to see the zombie/comedy/western made by James Denton and Chris Kattan and entitled Undead or Alive: A Zombedy. But... that sounds awesome!
- Beware, lovers of '80s nostalgia: a Ferris Bueller sequel is in the works! The script is called Ferris Bueller 2: Another Day Off, and takes place on the eve of Bueller's 40th birthday, when he decides to take a day off from his successful self-help business.
