The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you.

- Remember the news about Universal's upcoming Harry Potter theme park? Turns out Disney thought about doing it, too, but passed on the project, after deciding that realizing Rowling's vision would be too complex and expensive.
- The Logan's Run remake isn't dead yet! Now Joel Silver has taken it over to Warner Brothers, with a new director (Joseph Kosinski, making his feature film debut) and a new writer (Tim Sexton of Children of Men fame).
- You can watch video of brand new interviews with actual eyewitnesses of the Roswell Incident on Sci Fi's special new site. (Via)
- RedSpotGames is putting out new games for the Dreamcast. Yes, you read that right - new games for everybody's favorite defunct Sega system! One's a shooter and the other is a puzzle game, and they should both come out in the first quarter of 2008.
- A while back Doritos asked folks to design some Xbox Live Arcade games with a Doritos theme, and now they've announced the finalists. Lucky for us, Game|Life has taken a deep look at each of the final game designs which now all have to be turned into working games in the next two months.
- More info is coming out about questionable Wikipedia edits, some made by the Entertainment Software Association, and some by... Gabe and Tycho.
- This Phillyist is one of those crazy geeks who really doesn't care about Halo 3, but if you're slightly more sane, you might want to check out Wired's in-depth coverage of the game.
- Zachary Quinto gave up some more details about his role in the new Star Trek movie, and about the movie as a whole. He'll start shooting in November, eleven sets have been built at Paramount, and two weeks will be spent shooting in Iceland. He says the characters are at a point in their lives before we've seen them before, and are quite different. Also, Quinto is apparently having trouble doing the Vulcan salute with his right hand, and is making use of rubber bands and finger exercises.
- If you don't speak Wiki, but you do speak HTML, this HTML to Wiki converter might be for you.
- Although Paramount and Dreamworks had briefly begun supporting Blu-Ray as well as HD-DVD, they have now both decided to drop Blu-Ray support entirely in favor of making HD-DVD their exclusive next-gen format.
- Cinematical has seven pieces of advice for the makers of the next Bond film. We're not sure we agree with all of them, but they're interesting to read, nonetheless.
- You will be able to see Jessica Biel nude in her upcoming film, Powder Blue. Which sounds pretty hot, until you read on and realize that it's because her character is a single mother stripping to raise money for her terminally ill son. Oh. Anyways, the film also stars Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta as Biel's father, and Patrick Swayze as the owner of the club where she works. The plot is another one of those "four strangers whose lives intersect" things that makes us want to vomit. Still, it does have some great actors, and a beautiful lady naked...
- Argh! Nicole Kidman says—apparently in an attempt to reassure us—that the religious content in The Golden Compass "has been watered down a little," and that being a Catholic herself, she would never be in a film that was anti-Catholic. This is pretty disappointing news to anyone who's read and enjoyed the books, as they're kind of like a negative version of The Chronicles of Narnia, with the entire point of the series being essentially to criticize the oppressive, controlling nature of organized religion.
