A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- Shoot 'Em Up is a movie that knows what it is and is proud of it, as you can tell from the title - and from this new R-rated trailer. (Via)
- Blender is hosting a little contest where you can win music gear every week by answering correctly a multiple choice, music-related trivia question asked by a rock star in a little video on their site. This week's is asked by My Chemical Romance lead singer Gerard Way, and the correct answer can easily be discovered via Google.
- Sony officials are always saying something hilarious. Just recently at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival, former Sony Europe head Chris Reeves explained that, "In terms of the number of pints of beer you have to forego to get a PS3 it's really just the same as the number of pints of beer you had to forego to get a PS1 back in 1995." Uh, okay Chris. Keep on drinkin'!
- Despite any rumors you may have heard, EA would like to assure you that Rock Band "will ship this holiday in North America for the PS3 and Xbox 360."
- YouTube, as you may or may not know, is currently defending itself in court against claims from Viacom and others that they illegally show clips of sports and entertainment videos. But oddly enough, as part of their defense, they'd like to call to the stand Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
- Well, there's still no music by all the Beatles together on iTunes, but all John Lennon's Capitol Records albums are now available for download.
- We present to you a work in progress: the Internet Phenomena Phonetic Alphabet. L is for lolcats! The inspiration for this project is also hilarious: the Big Lebowski Phonetic Alphabet. (Via)
- Do you have a Wii? Is it hooked up to the internet? Do you like casual gaming? If you answered yes to all these questions, you might want to check out Wii.Knibble.com. They have a library of over 5,000 casual games like Bejeweled and Solitaire, all optimized for play on your Wii browser. (Via)
- Now they're making prequels to movies that themselves were spin-off prequels to other movies. We're referring here to the upcoming Scorpion King prequel, which will not even star The Rock, making it, if possible, even less interesting than the original.
- Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty is the latest woman rumored to be in the running to play the next Bond girl.
- A while back we posted - with much disgust - the news that Stephen Sommers had been chosen to direct G.I. Joe. The latest rumor is that, while he was offered the job, he asked for too much cash and has been turned down. We hope it's true, because even a movie adaptation of a corny kids' cartoon show deserves a better director than that.
- Ooh, now here's a fun list: the Top 20 Movies about Computer Hacking and Geeks. We love that they included underrated and overlooked flicks like Sneakers and The Thirteenth Floor, and it's good to see an old friend like Tron here, but we quarrel a bit with the inclusion of Hackers, Transformers, and The Net. Those movies don't belong on a list of the top 20 anything. (Via)
- While we're talking movie lists, how about Seven Teen Sex Comedies that Don't Suck, and the 25 Best Raunchy R-rated Comedies of All Time? These aren't really our favorite genres, but we can't resist lists of movies.
- Tarsem Singh, the guy who made The Cell (which we always thought was an amazing and underrated film) is directing a movie called The Unforgettable, which is about a cop who figures out he's not human and gets thrown into a war between good and evil aliens. Sounds good to us!
- A while back Edward Norton made an off-hand remark at a press conference suggesting that he wrote the screenplay for the new Incredible Hulk. We assumed he misspoke, or maybe just contributed a bit of dialogue here and there. But it turns out he actually did come on as a screenwriter for the flick, and helped fix up a draft that needed a lot of work.
- Anna Faris is starring in the upcoming film House Bunny as a Playboy bunny who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion and becomes the house mother for the lamest sorority on campus. The rest of the movie pretty much writes itself, doesn't it? Anyway, here are some pics of Faris in character, and costume (what there is of it), washing a car. Go ahead. You know you want to click.
