The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you.

- Hey, guess who has two thumbs and got a geeky tattoo this past weekend? This guy! (Uh, now you're supposed to imagine your humble author pointing at himself with both thumbs. Hmm... that gag doesn't work as well online...) Yes, the tat is in Elvish. It's the name of a guy you've probably never heard of, but it also means this Phillyist is a fan of elves and stars, and is thus a memorial tattoo to our dear departed friend Star. We're quite proud of it. Thus the linking to the personal blog, which we wouldn't normally do. The work was done at No Ka Oi, a great shop just south of South Street on 4th.
- Dude, somebody stole the three-ton Tunguska meteorite from the yard of the Tunguska Space Event foundation. Was it aliens? Well, we want to believe... Actually, we imagine a bunch of red-neck aliens tossing the rock in the back of their UFO pick-up and tearing off across the lawn hooting while a guy from the foundation runs out and shakes his fist at them. - The Movie Blog managed to find 4 minutes of incredibly intense and disturbing footage from the upcoming Saw 4. But you'd better go and watch it quick, because the studio will probably pull it soon. (Btw, we'd call it marginally safe for work.)
- Although Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash hasn't become a movie (yet), it is apparently going to become a six-part comic book mini-series, put out by DC and Dynamite Entertainment.
- Shoot 'Em Up, which is a movie we've talked about multiple times here at Whiz, doesn't hit theaters for a couple of weeks yet, but apparently, there's already talk of a sequel.
- Hot on the heels of news that New Line is talking to Peter Jackson about doing The Hobbit again comes the rumor that Sam Raimi will be directing the film while Jackson produces it.
- Pathe and the BBC are getting together to produce a relatively large budget live-action film adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book.
- Rumor is Jurassic Park 4 will feature dinosaurs fitted with weapons by the government to turn them into war beasts. Oh, man. All they need now is Devil Dinosaur and this'll be the most awesome movie ever.
- Sony has put PS2 and PSP kiosks inside Korean movie theaters (like seriously, in the theaters themselves), and a PS3 with an HD monitor inside a bank.
- Ever wondered whether MySpace actually makes money? Well, the answer is yes, to the tune of a $10 million profit on recent revenues of $550 million. We're not sure what surprises us more - that they have such high revenues, or that they made such a comparatively small profit from them...
- How can we decide the final answer to the perpetual question, which is better, pirates or ninjas? One way is by playing the upcoming game Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball. Brilliant! (Btw, the correct answer is ninjas.)
