On of our favorite shows this summer was the MAE/Ok Go/The Fray concert at the Tweeter Center. Imagine 25,000 screaming fans, perfect weather and awesome seats. It was incredible. Though we are a huge fan of intimate settings and up-and-coming bands, we enjoyed the huge crowd, music and overall feel of the outdoor concert. It really was the perfect way to start the summer. Now, we are fortunate to end our summer with an intimate, small-venue concert featuring MAE (one of our favorite bands).
This headlining tour is going to feature songs off their new album that drops next Tuesday, August 14th. You can already check out their single, "Sometimes I Can't Make It Alone" on iTunes. If this is what the rest of the CD is going to sound like, we know it's going to kick some ass.
MAE will be headlining at the North Star Bar this Sunday night. They will be playing with As Tall as Lions and Dear and the Headlights. It looks like they aren't selling any more tickets online, but we're sure there will be some at the door (or if not, someone trying to get rid of 1 or 2 tickets).
