Sinning on a Sunday

rock.jpg In college, we knew this girl. Every time she hooked up, we found her in her room the next morning, dancing to "Angel of the Silences" from Recovering the Satellites. She said there was just something about that song. We'll probably run into her this weekend, at the Counting Crows show at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington. There's no doubt we'll ask if that's still her victory song.

The Counting Crows will be touring to promote their forthcoming album, tentatively titled Saturday Night, Sunday Morning. According to lead singer Adam Duritz, "Saturday night is when you sin and Sunday is when you regret. Sinning is often done very loudly, angrily, bitterly, violently."

We say this weekend, sin on Sunday, and take off Monday. Leave the regrets for someone else.
