What's new and/or interesting on television this week.
Victoria Beckham: Coming to America (Mon, 8PM-9PM, NBC10) - It's the British invasion all over again in this reality show-type special which follows Posh Spice as she moves from London to LA.
Secret Life Of... (Mon, 8:30PM-9PM, Food Network) - This time they're taking a look at superstitions surrounding foods - so, stuff about New Year's Day foods, spinach, garlic, and carrots.
Cities of the Underworld (Mon, 9PM-10PM, History Channel) - Ooh, pagans! They're looking underneath Cappadocia in Turkey to find the remains of the Hittite civilization, as well as the people who came after them.
Ferrets: The Pursuit of Excellence (Wed, 8PM-9PM, PBS [WHYY, WLVT]) - It's the annual Ferret Buckeye Bash in Columbus, Ohio! Apparently it's sort of like a dog show; the little fellers are judged on various traits, including temperament, bone structure, and muscle mass.
Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Wed, 11PM-11:30PM, Comedy Central) - Hey, Matt Groening's on the show this week - no doubt to promote The Simpsons Movie. Should be a fun time!
Monk (Fri, 9PM-10PM, USA) - Dude, Snoop Dogg and Kurupt are guest starring on the show this week! Because, you see, Monk needs to clear a rap star who's been accused of murder.
Human Weapon (Fri, 10PM-11PM, History Channel) - In this new show, two dudes travel the world taking crash courses in various martial arts styles, and then fighting champions in the disciplines. In the first episode they go to Bangkok to learn Muay Thai.
