A Cool, Refreshing (Music) Bath, Anyone?

boybathing07-11-07.jpgThe Boy Bathing (MySpace) is a band that consists mostly of Brooklyn singer-songwriter David Hurwitz - his voice, his guitar, and sometimes some other folks backing him up. The best we can do to describe the rather unique sound is to call it emotional folk-pop-rock, but that might give you the wrong idea; it's actually quite good! The lyrics are clever, and tell strange little stories; Hurwitz's vocals are intriguing and moving; the harmonies are quite lovely; the music is catchy. And luckily for you, The Boy Bathing is playing University City's own Millcreek Tavern this Friday with Flat Mary Road, The Extraordinaires, and Conversation with Friends. Sounds like a good way to spend a Friday evening to us.
