Get Your Drink on For a Good Cause

Wednesdays throughout July, Bleu Martini's Charity Happy Hours will be benefiting Once Upon A Nation. Go between 5:30 and 7:30 and enjoy free hors d'oeuvres and drink specials, and have 15% of your tab donated to this worthy endeavor.

One thing we love about our historic city: all of the great opportunities to learn about the history and culture of this place. Well, really, we like going up to Ben Franklin and asking anachronistic questions, but that's another post. If we were still young and dewey-eyed though, we'd appreciate the great lengths the history-type people go to ensure that learning wasn't boring. At least most of it anyway. Once Upon A Nation is one such organization dedicated to bringing history to life. The night events will cost ya, but there are also free events, most notably the storytelling benches.
